Ribeye steak is considered to be one of the most flavoursome steaks and has long been a firm favourite among butchers and chefs alike. Taken from the rib primal, where the muscles are underused with more fat, the Ribeye steak guarantees tender and well marbled meat.
The Ribeye steak is further enhanced by the nugget of natural fat at the core, called the ‘eye’, which melts and caramelises during cooking, providing exceptional flavour and succulence.
Serves 2, each Ribeye steak is carefully hand cut into a perfect portion for one.
Supplied chilled and vacuum packed. Store at < 5°C. See label on pack for shelf life. Suitable for freezing. Freeze on day of purchase.
Pan Frying / Grilling / BBQ
Best served Medium Rare, 3-4 mins / side – the core temperature of the steak should be 55-57oC.
Serve simply with homemade chips, mushrooms and a great sauce (Steak Diane, Peppercorn and Chimichurri)
