ANGUS FILLET STEAKS, 2 x 200g

Fillet, the most tender of all the steak cuts. As the least used muscle on the carcase, the fillet is virtually fat free, lean and meltingly tender when cooked.

Serves 2, each fillet steak is carefully hand cut into a perfect portion for one.

Supplied chilled and vacuum packed. Store at < 5°C. See label on pack for shelf life. Suitable for freezing. Freeze on day of purchase.

CHEFS TIPS & RECIPE

Pan Frying / Grilling

Best served Medium Rare – 2.5mins / side – the core temperature of the steak should be 55-57^oC.

Serve simply with homemade chips, mushrooms and a great sauce (Steak Diane, Peppercorn and Chimichurri)
